Safeguarding & Child Protection

Town Junior is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) with responsibility for Child Protection is Mrs Gilmour (or, in her absence the Deputy DSL, Mrs Smith). We recognise that some children may be the victims of neglect, physical, sexual or emotional abuse and all staff are well placed to identify such abuse and respond quickly and effectively. If you do have a concern about a child’s well-being please report this to Mrs Gilmour or Mrs Smith; any member of staff as an initial point of contact. Alternatively you may ring Children’s Advice & Support Service directly on 0121 303 1888.
